social events; memorial services, healing music, Senior Living
home/nursing home mini-concerts, Anniversary parties, and church
functions. Each event is customized for the occasion, choosing from
classical, Celtic, sacred, pop, and some jazz literature.
Teaching: If you’ve always
wanted to play the harp, it’s not too late! Many students are retired and
find they finally have the time to live their dreams!! Elizabeth has made
it a specialty to teach adult beginners. No musical experience is
necessary, however keyboard skills are a plus! Usually, beginners rent a
harp from a dealer for a few months before purchasing their own
instrument. Lever harps are an excellent choice, and many people find they
are quite happy to remain with that instrument, enjoying its sweet tone,
portability and price.
